About Still-Young Photography

Hi there! Welcome to my facebook page! Still-Young Photography started because of my interest in capturing everything that is special in life.

A simple smile, a relationship blooming, a wedding ceremony and reception, a pregnancy, a child being born, the laughter and tears of holding that tinny little person for the first time, the family photos, birthday parties and celebrations, my life, your life, anything that matters to us. All of those things keep me inspired to create works of art that you will enjoy for years to come.

I believe that {Life is Sweet} and I enjoy being able to go through my photographs and experience my best moments over and over again.

Enjoy your visit to my page! While here, leave me some comments in your favorite images. If you want to book a session, please contact me. Come back often to view my recent work and stay in touch!

Talk to you soon!

Speed Blogging
 is amazing
{two} blogs in one day within
{one} hour! Hallelujah
.....
There is a GOD!

1) Ally is a friend through a friend
....
who called and asked for a favor, a themed shoot with her sister
....
Cool short story; Her and her sister just reunited with their father who has worked for the railroads a good portion of his life and they wanted to send surprise framed pictures to him of just the two of them....If he hasn't already got them I already know hes going to {love} them!

2)  I don't believe I could have picked two better locations. I bet the girls didn't think they would be laying down on a railroad track.... :0)

3)  Sitting, standing, crawling, jumping, laying, climbing...These girls did it without a fuss!
I loved everything about this shoot and really loved the end product....

Thanks ally for opening my eyes to different locations!
 I loved the railroad theme!

Beautiful Day {+} Beautiful Family {=} Stunning Shoot!

SPEED BLOGGING
I am so far behind in my blogging and uploading pictures
that I must just be a little quicker at blogging
...
So therefore I found a bright idea of speed blogging
were I will write three things about the shoot
and upload pictures for you to view!

1)Stunning location in Verrado! Hello if it wasn't so far i would move out there
....
I would just need all my friends and family to move with!
 You all in??????

2)Such a cute family that brought more than a few outfits which always makes for a fun shoot
....
Wardrobe changes in the car are the BEST! :0)

3) A little secret some pictures were shot on the porch of a home that was fore sale!
Who said we couldn't use it!?
The owner or Realtor definitely showed up
 while we were shooting.
They should feel honored!
I didn't appear by the look on his face that he was

Motherhood

A handful of kids were asked personal questions
about their mom’s...
Here are their honest answers, word for word:

Why did God make mothers?
1.-She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2.-Think about it, it was the best way to get more people.
3.-Mostly to clean the house.
How did God make mothers?
1.- He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2.- Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
What ingredients are mothers made of?
1.- God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1.- God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
Describe the world's greatest mom?
1.- She would make broccoli taste like ice cream!
What kind of little girl was your mom?
1.- My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2.- I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
Is anything about your mom perfect?
1.- Her teeth are perfect, but she bought them from the dentist.

Aren't these answers adorable?! Yet, as cute as these responses are, as we grow older and especially as we become parents ourselves, we learn the true meaning of motherhood.

Motherhood is giving your child courage on the first day of school. Motherhood is giving your child reassurance when they are teenagers and don’t want to hear a word you have to say. Motherhood is saying sorry when you have had an argument. Motherhood is sacrificing sleep to nurture your child, it is relearning long division to help your kids with homework, it is developing a taste for macaroni and cheese, it is science projects, soccer practice, PTA meetings, chauffeuring, hugs and kisses, life lessons, blood sweat and tears, unconditional love and affection, loyalty support, comfort, friendship and especially patience.

Motherhood is Awesome!

Lindsey I wish you nothing but luck with your very 1st bundle of love!
You and Justin will make the most wonderful parents a child could ever as for!

D'Ambrosio Family

I have to introduce you to the D'Ambrosio Family!
AREN'T THEY CUTE!!!
Yes all of them!
I always love when someone calls me (9 times out of 10 the mom/wife) and they say I want pictures of my kids done, non of me, just the kids....and come the day were its time to shoot, I have talked the parents into being in a few of the pictures!
Hello do you see why I tried to convince mom and dad to be in a few?!?!
What a cute Family!

I have gotten to know Kyndal and Anthony over the last few years and have nothing BUT great ADULT time, sadly I had never met there boys. I have heard lots about them but had never met them. So when Kyndal called me and asked if I would take pictures of her boys I was ecstatic!

Aren't they ADORABLE!!!!!!

And for being TWO boys they sure did listen!
Before I had any kids, I always wanted four boys, I ended up with one boy and one girl but definitely want more seeing these two guys I kind of want boys from here on out!

I always find it comical how you can have two kids, try to raise them in the same ways and yet in some instances they are so different! These two boys one was reserved, a little bit more mellow as were the youngest was adventures and had a little bit more energy.
As you will be able to tell below I was only able to get a shot of little B on the wooden post cause you were not going to catch older brother standing on that thing. {giggle,giggle}

Enjoy the rest of the shoot!
Thanks Boys you were the BEST!!!

...He was even a little reserved about sitting on it...
