About Still-Young Photography

Hi there! Welcome to my facebook page! Still-Young Photography started because of my interest in capturing everything that is special in life.

A simple smile, a relationship blooming, a wedding ceremony and reception, a pregnancy, a child being born, the laughter and tears of holding that tinny little person for the first time, the family photos, birthday parties and celebrations, my life, your life, anything that matters to us. All of those things keep me inspired to create works of art that you will enjoy for years to come.

I believe that {Life is Sweet} and I enjoy being able to go through my photographs and experience my best moments over and over again.

Enjoy your visit to my page! While here, leave me some comments in your favorite images. If you want to book a session, please contact me. Come back often to view my recent work and stay in touch!

Talk to you soon!

Motherhood

A handful of kids were asked personal questions
about their mom’s...
Here are their honest answers, word for word:

Why did God make mothers?
1.-She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2.-Think about it, it was the best way to get more people.
3.-Mostly to clean the house.
How did God make mothers?
1.- He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2.- Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
What ingredients are mothers made of?
1.- God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1.- God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
Describe the world's greatest mom?
1.- She would make broccoli taste like ice cream!
What kind of little girl was your mom?
1.- My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2.- I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
Is anything about your mom perfect?
1.- Her teeth are perfect, but she bought them from the dentist.

Aren't these answers adorable?! Yet, as cute as these responses are, as we grow older and especially as we become parents ourselves, we learn the true meaning of motherhood.

Motherhood is giving your child courage on the first day of school. Motherhood is giving your child reassurance when they are teenagers and don’t want to hear a word you have to say. Motherhood is saying sorry when you have had an argument. Motherhood is sacrificing sleep to nurture your child, it is relearning long division to help your kids with homework, it is developing a taste for macaroni and cheese, it is science projects, soccer practice, PTA meetings, chauffeuring, hugs and kisses, life lessons, blood sweat and tears, unconditional love and affection, loyalty support, comfort, friendship and especially patience.

Motherhood is Awesome!

Lindsey I wish you nothing but luck with your very 1st bundle of love!
You and Justin will make the most wonderful parents a child could ever as for!
